Armen Davtyan
Armenologist, poet Armen Davtyan (born 1964) studied at the Faculty of Philology of Yerevan State University (1982-1987), then at the Institute of Fine Arts and Theater. From 1987-1990 he worked as an editor at the "Garun" magazine. He worked at the "Munetik" weekly, the "Andin" magazine, and the "New School" publishing house. From 1998-2018 he was a referent to the President of the Republic of Armenia, from 2018-2019 he was a referent to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 2019-2020 he was an advisor to the Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia. He currently works in the Department of Historical and Cultural Astronomy of the Byurakan Observatory. He is engaged in esumeology. He has been a member of the Writers' Union of Armenia since 1987. He has published 2 poetry collections, 4 scientific monographs, and has authored more than four dozen scientific articles.
