Hermine Avagyan
Hermine Avagyan (born 1989) is a poet and prose writer. She was born in the village of Ashan, Artsakh. She is a journalist by profession. She is the author of six books. She has received literary awards in Artsakh, Armenia, and the Diaspora. She won the Artsakh Writers’ Literary Competition announced by Newmag and the “Tovmasyan” Foundation. She is the director of the Artsakh office of the National Armenian Educational and Cultural Union. Hermine is also a member of the editorial board of the Canadian magazine “Literary Horizon”. She is a copywriter at the “Artsakh Carpet/Арцах карпет” handmade carpet company.
