Oliver Stone
Oliver Stone (born 1946) is an American world-famous, Oscar-winning film director, and documentary filmmaker. He is known for both fiction and documentaries related to US foreign policy. He has won three Oscars, has made three films about the Vietnam War, and three films about Fidel Castro. His most famous documentary is the television series Unknown Pages in US History. Stone is a participant in wars, and was awarded 8 medals during his service in the US Army.
