1. My whole life was accompanied by books. In the neighborhood where I lived, there were several bookstores, the first floor was for souvenirs, and then you could find books. You could immediately notice the fiction books there, whereas nowadays the most visible places in the bookstores are for the non-fiction books.
2.Non-fiction constantly transforms. What is more important is that it transforms due to the market preferences. This is certainly not the case for fiction. Fiction is like a confession, whereas oration is a preaching.
3. Unfortunately, nowadays people do not have time to rest. Their mind is constantly busy with something. Maybe it’s due to politics? There is always something for the contemporary people to think or to do.
4. People started to read what is useful, and not what is interesting.
5.The writers who take their job seriously and write serious literature do not consider the books as a way to make money. It may only be possible to make money when there are 100.000, or at least 70.000 copies of the book.
6. The success for any author is rooted in the language in which he writes. What is vital for the writer is the language, not the surname.
7. Armenian authors who write in Russian are not considered to be Armenians. They are Russian writers, even if they have Armenian surnames.
8. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, 15 countries were separated, but the cultural ties are still preserved, though not as strong as they were then, but you can still feel and notice the bond.
