Naira Khachatryan

Naira Khachatryan was born in 1970 in Yerevan. In 1993, she graduated from Latvian university with the qualification of literary translator. Her translations from Latvian and Russian have been published in Armenian periodicals, in anthologies and individual books. She has repeatedly acted as an editor for books published in Latvia and Russia. In 2015 Naira received the Latvian literary award “Silver Inkwell” for compiling the anthology “Modern Latvian Prose” (2013) and translating it into Armenian.
