Shushan Maruk

Shushan Maruk Karaptyan was born in 1986 in Etchmiadzin. She studied first at the Yerevan State University, then the Greek language and culture at the universities of Greece and Cyprus. Since 2010, she has worked as an editor and translator. She edited dictionaries, literary and scientific publications. The dictionary "Concordance of Old Armenian Bible" was published under her editorship (2012, 1908 pages). Since 2022, she has made translations from Greek, Russian and English. Translations from Greek have been regularly published in various literary presses. In 2017, the collection of poems by the famous Greek poet, Nobel Prize laureate Odysseus Elitis, "The Wind of the Mother of God", was published and translated by Shushan Marouk.
