A success story, which can turn into a motivation for many others. This was the main goal behind Ani Qochar’s “Never Give Up” book. Ani went through a seemingly insurmountable struggle. In the book she wrote down her formula of fighting against those chal

Meet Milena! Or how she likes to present herself - Milush. She is a future model, who got her first offer from Ani Qochar. “After several years we will meet up again. Both of us will have long hair. We will have fancy make up and do a beautiful photoshoot.”

On the way home from the hospital, she wears the most beautiful dress and introduces herself to her father, grandmother and brother. “I don’t really like to be in the hospital. Instead, I prefer to be at home instead. I really want to cry when it comes to blood tests.”

9-year-old Milena is the first among others to take Ani Qochar’s “Never Give Up” book and look through the pages. She has been in the hospital for 8 months now. Milena was diagnosed with bone cancer. Ani believes that the fight against cancer is different for children and adults, however, they should have the same attitude. They should never surrender and be stronger than the disease. “For the adults it is possible to fully understand and assess the situation and act accordingly. However, it is quite challenging for children.”

In the Institute of Hematology Ani Qochar handed over her book published by the Newmag publishing house. Before the meeting she carefully arranged the gifts. “While sitting there I was looking at the mothers of those children. I could fully understand and share their pain. There is a pain in their eyes. Their children are fighting against a difficult disease.”

The head of the “City of Smile” Foundation Ester Demirchyan believes that this meeting is especially important for the parents. They are the ones who should encourage the children and give them faith to fight against the disease. Ani Qochar shares this opinion.“Parents should have the time to sit and read the book. I think parents will see themselves in the book. They will gain the confidence that if someone was able to overcome this difficult situation, then they can do it too.”

The book will soon be handed to the “Soldier’s Home” rehabilitation center. Ani will also visit the hospitals with oncology departments.
