Newmag’s unprecedented book donation project is expanding. Months ago, the publishing house launched a nationwide initiative to equip community libraries with modern literature, and thanks to the support of business partners, this vision is becoming a reality.

To mark Book Donation Day, the Kajaran Culture Palace library has been enriched with 500 new books from Newmag Publishing House.

On February 19, a book festival was held at the Kajaran Culture Palace, where festival attendees engaged in active discussions with guests, including Newmag Publishing House Head Artak Aleksanyan and Editor-in-Chief Gnel Nalbandyan.

With the support of Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine, Kajaran’s library now has a fresh collection of 500 books, offering readers access to diverse and contemporary publications.

This initiative follows previous successful donations:

- 1,000 books were donated to two libraries in Lori region with the support of Freedom Broker Armenia.

- 250 books were provided to the Centralized Library System of Dilijan thanks to Artak Tamamyan’s support.

Now, 500 more books have arrived in Kajaran, made possible by Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine’s funding.

The project remains ongoing, with plans to expand further, bringing modern literature to libraries across Armenia’s regions.
