"Yeraz Projects" and Newmag published three books within the "Yeraz" series for children in May 2023. Among them was the renowned and cherished “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, a beloved children's novel known worldwide. Additionally, "Mush's Strange Journey" by Australian-Armenian writer-illustrator Sona Babajanyan found its place within the series. The third book was published for parents titled "Discipline Without Drama."

Before the upcoming school year, the "Yeraz" series has launched a summer reading event in the "Yeraz" park. Beloved characters will engage in reading sessions for children, along with hosting quizzes. The participant demonstrating the highest level of attentiveness will be rewarded with a prize.

The inaugural book we read from the series was the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. This is a worldwide bestseller, receiving numerous awards, and amassing over 280 million copies in sales. The first part of the book has already sparked significant interest among Armenian schoolchildren.

Wimpy Kid studies at school and has a diary. not of grades, but of life. There he writes about all the events that happen to him. Not a single day passes without something remarkable occurring. His school life is often marked by teasing and difficulty in forming friendships. And he writes about his setbacks and moments of sorrow in his diary. Through sharing his own experiences, he becomes a source of support for his peers, helping them navigate the challenges that arise in the school.

This work offers not only a reading experience but also the opportunity to watch it on screen, as there is a captivating series and an animated adaptation available. The film made its global debut in 2010. This immensely popular series has garnered affection from both parents and children. Beyond Greg, the central character, his friend Rowley is always with him in all comical situations.

Concluding the event, the most attentive and active participants received gifts including a notebook, puzzle, and stickers inspired by the book of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. These items are also available for purchase on the “Yeraz” website as well as in various bookstores. Next, we will read "Mush's Strange Journey" by Sona Babajanyan. We are waiting for everyone on August 17, at 7 pm in "Yeraz” park. The Rabbit and the Piso will read the book and conduct quizzes.
