On August 24, the "BACK TO SCHOOL" children's and youth book festival was held at Yeraz Park. The "Yeraz" series presented three new books at once.

Newmag and Yeraz Projects, the founders of the "Yeraz" series, organized the "BACK TO SCHOOL" festival for the second year. Presentations of the "Yeraz" books occur twice a year: before the summer holidays and the new academic year.

The series also introduces new books at these festivals. This year, "Yeraz" published three additional literary works for young readers. Gohar Manukyan, head of the series, noted in her opening speech that they had published 13 books over the past year, catering to children of various ages and interests.

"One of our greatest wishes is for the return to school to begin not with stress, but with great anticipation. For this reason, newmag and Yeraz Projects have been launching the new academic year with this book festival for the second year. The books we select, translate, and publish aim to be useful to you, to be your advisor, and your friend, to entertain you, and to expand your knowledge. To achieve good deeds and dreams, you need loyal friends. Those who want to create the best books for you gather around the Yeraz series each year."

For two years now, VTB-Armenia Bank has been a partner of the new book during the "BACK TO SCHOOL" festival. This year, the bank not only supported "The Adventures of Electronic" but was also the general sponsor of the festival. According to Nare Tadevosyan, head of marketing and public relations at VTB Armenia Bank, they consistently support various educational and cultural initiatives and projects in the country.

"Our bank places great importance on education and fostering a love of reading in children. We are pleased to have supported this festival for two years. Typically, the new school year begins with tension among children and parents, but thanks to this festival, children start the school year in high spirits."

This year, the festival featured different events simultaneously across three locations. Park characters greeted guests, and volunteers from "Dobry," the festival's general partner, welcomed them in the Green Zone. In the multi-functional pavilion, children engaged in educational and fun games and enjoyed juice.

The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra’s quintet performed at the festival, offering classical renditions of popular cartoons, and "Symphonic DasA" held an open class for visitors in the park.

Bands also performed during the festival. The state students of Artsakh song and students from the "Orran" charitable non-governmental organization were special guests of the "BACK TO SCHOOL." Armine Hovhannisyan, founder-director of "Orran," emphasized the importance of such events in her speech.

"I have already purchased several books for Orran's library, but having heard so many interesting details, I will read them first before passing them on to the children at Orran. Perhaps one of the greatest inventions in human history is the book. When you read a book, you are transported to another world. You start to dream, travel, feel sadness, experience different moods, and together we create stories. Maybe one of the children will become a writer, the author of a story."

In addition to the three new books, "Yeraz" also premiered a song. In addition to the translated "The Adventures of Electronic", the famous song from the film was also played in Armenian for the first time. "Winged Swing" was performed by students from the "Mihran Arp Studio."

All the books from the "Yeraz" series were sold at the festival with discounts of up to 40%.
