For You, Armenia: Youri Djorkaeff is personally leading the distribution of the French aid

There is both excitement and pride when one of the most renowned Armenians of the world enters the hospital room. The footballer emphasizes that it was his moral duty to come and support his nation.

“It is essential for me to be here, because I have Armenian roots. My love for this country and this nation is unconditional. It is extremely important for me to share these fateful moments with other Armenians.”

Youri Djorkaeff always had a special connection with Armenia. In his book “Snake”, which was published by Newmag publishing house, Djorkaeff makes special references to Armenia. He writes detailed descriptions of his most impressive memories about his homeland. Therefore, it is not a coincidence that Djorkaeff was the one leading the French delegation. The delegation has already distributed 35 tonnes of humanitarian aid. 

“The wounded soldiers are suffering from physical pain. Instead, our heart is filled with pain and suffering. We want to provide both moral and material support. Emmanuel Macron assured that France will provide long-term assistance.” 

Aznavour's family is yet another vivid example of French-Armenian friendship. Charles Aznavour has always supported Armenia. Kristina Aznavour claims that now the Aznavour Foundation continues this mission. 

“It is hard to tell how many people have helped us. More than 10.000 people and numerous corporations have been supporting us. Since the beginning of the war, Aznavour foundation has turned into a warehouse.”
