Then he tried to become president, failed miserably, got a serious illness and miraculously survived, became vice president, and retired politically in everyone’s eyes. And he came back to be elected as US president. From America's youngest senator to the oldest president, from dizzying happiness to the death of his children. In the 1960s, when Biden met his future wife's parents, when asked what he would become, he said: “President of the United States.” David Sargsyan is the translator of the book. “He seemed like an ordinary, old man. The book is about willpower, perseverance and not giving up. Translator David Sargsyan has often come across examples in the book that prove his willpower. “He was stuttering, but was able to overcome it on his own. He witnessed and participated in historical events for half a century, kept all his promises and officially recognized the Armenian Genocide.”

Joe Biden was the first American president to promise and recognize the Armenian Genocide. According to American expert Suren Sargsyan, of course, that process was not so easy, and Biden did not accept it easily. “There was pressure around him, he should have done it one day, but it was his personal conviction. He was the first president to give an assessment.”

 

Biden became President of the United States and promised to save the country's spirit and faith in the state. Book editor Gnel Nalbandyan notices that he finally manages to become president at the age of 78. “All of us should know politics and how it works, and Newmag provides us with that opportunity. American University lecturer Hovhannes Nikoghosyan singles out the remarkable pages of Joe Biden's life. “Biden shows through his own experience how to reach the top of the political Olympus, if you want to achieve it. I was amazed by it, and did not know that he was not a very good student at university.”
