Astra Philipsone
Astra Filipsone (born 1989) is a Latvian writer. Born in Riga, she studied at a music school, and studied environmental sciences at the University of Latvia, specializing in urban environment and sustainable development. During her professional career, she worked in the fields of quality assessment, intellectual property, and urban planning, and participated in urban development projects in Latvia and Belgium. She lives in New York City, working in the field of urban planning and development, continuing her literary career. The author finds her main inspiration for writing in music, nature, and communication with unusual people. Her works are distinguished by subtle humor, psychological depth, and a depiction of the loneliness of modern man and human relationships.
