Colm Toibin
Colm Tóibín (born 1955) is an Irish author. His works are known for their deep psychological layers, subtle language, and accurate depictions of human relationships. Tóibín is the author of 11 novels. His works have been shortlisted for the Booker Prize three times, and have won the Costa Novel Award and the International Dublin Literary Award. Tóibín has taught at prestigious universities, including Columbia University. His books have been translated into dozens of languages. He lives and works in Dublin and New York.
