Jonathan Haidt
Jonathan Haidt (born 1963) is an American social psychologist. He received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and did postdoctoral research at the University of Chicago and in the Indian state of Orissa. He has been a professor at New York University since 2011. Foreign Policy magazine has included him in its list of "the world's leading global thinkers" and Prospect has included him in its list of "the world's leading intellectuals." Co-author of the theory of moral foundations, Haidt's works have greatly influenced public debates, revealing key issues in education, technology, and the development of modern society.
