Laura Vinogradova
Laura Vinogradova (born 1984) is a contemporary Latvian writer. She graduated from the Riga Technical University, Department of Business Administration, and entered the literary world after the age of 30. Her first children's book was published in 2017, followed by collections of short stories and children's works. The novel "The River", published in 2020, brought the author international recognition. "The River" was shortlisted for the annual Latvian Literary Prize and won the 2021 European Union Prize for Literature.
