Peter Thiel
Peter Thiel (born 1967) is an American businessman and venture capitalist. He founded PayPal in 1988. He was the first investor in Facebook in 2004. He founded the software company Palantir Technologies. He has invested in many successful startups, many of which were founded by Thiel's former colleagues from PayPal. Thiel is a partner in the Silicon Valley venture capital fund Founders Fund. This fund has financed SpaceX and Airbnb.
