Signe Viška
Signe Viška (born 1997) is a Latvian children's writer and translator. She is the author of cultural and literary projects, the founder of the literary radio program "Bron Hits". Since 2021, she has been the editor-in-chief of konTEKSTS magazine. She writes and translates children's books. She was the PR specialist for the annual Latvian Literature Awards, the press officer for the "Poetry Days 2020" festival and the "Jānis Baltvilks" international prize. The picture book "Kate Wanted to Be a Grandfather" is Viška's debut work, illustrated by Elina Braslinja.
