Newmag and Yeraz Projects present “Brioche and Tartine - Toutou et n'importe quoi” (trailer)
04/25/2026
A colorful, witty, and charming comic for the youngest readers. Newmag, together with Yeraz Projects, introduces Violette Vaïsse’s delightful book “Brioche and Tartine - Toutou et n'importe quoi”, created for children up to 6 years old.
At the heart of the story is friendship - simple, playful, and wonderfully absurd. Brioche and Tartine are two dogs who share the same sense of humor, the same curiosity, and the same urge to explore the world through seemingly nonsensical questions.
Their conversations often begin with “serious” topics, like whether goats have teeth, but quickly spiral into lively debates where logic blends with imagination. At first glance, Tartine may seem more разумական, but it’s exactly this “intelligence” that becomes the target of Brioche’s jokes and playful provocations. Their world is built on questions, arguments, reconciliations, and endless games.
This is more than just a funny comic. It captures how children think, freely, creatively, without limits, where even the most illogical question can spark discovery. The comic format enhances this experience: vivid illustrations and short, dynamic dialogues draw young readers in, making it easy to follow, engage, and imagine.
The book is composed of light, humorous episodes - bright, expressive, and perfectly suited for early readers.
Violette Vaïsse, a French illustrator trained at the Saint-Luc School of Art in Brussels, works across illustration, fashion, and design. Alongside collaborations with various brands and festivals, she creates children’s and youth comics, with “Brioche and Tartine” as one of her beloved series.
“Toutou et n'importe quoi” is the first book in the trilogy, introducing the playful universe of the characters, where there are no right answers, only curiosity, imagination, and the joy of asking questions.
The Armenian edition is translated from French by Tatevik Manukyan. The book will be presented on May 3 as part of the “Dream Book” children’s festival. The main partner of the publication is Yeraz Projects.

Description
The famous saying “Like attracts like” perfectly describes Brioche and Tartine. They have the same sense of humor and the same innate “grace” for doing stupid things. The two dogs discuss “serious” topics, for example, do goats have teeth? Then they argue fiercely and put common sense to the test. At first glance, Tartine seems more intelligent than Brioche. The “hero” of his jokes and funny games is his friend. A colorful and funny comic for young readers.
Intended for children under 6 years old
