“The Children of this Fight”. Newmag presents Charles Aznavour's 6th song in Armenian (video)

The premiere of the video clip and song took place on September 9, Newmag dedicated it to the children of Artsakh who were under siege for 9 months.

Due to the recent violent events, the publishing house made changes to the video, regretfully adding a few more photos of forcibly displaced Artsakh residents and children. This song is a message to the world and all of humanity, about the fates of 120,000 peaceful Artsakh residents, 30,000 of them children, who are looking into the unknown today.

Charles Aznavour dedicated this song to the children of all wars, but the occasion was his memories from the Second World War, the song was performed by him for the first time in 1968. Born and raised in a family of Armenian immigrants, the artist has performed many songs about human suffering and loss. “I've said everything: love, separation, children that don't exist, children of war... War is about misfortune and unfortunate events. And the title of this song, “The Children of this Fight” best describes the war”.

The producer is Artak Aleksanyan, the lyrics of the poem were Armenianized by Lilit Bleyan, the instruments were arranged by Martin Mirzoyan, and the video includes the photos of Davit Ghahramanyan from Artsakh, which he immortalized in the last nine months.
