The Armenian translation of Mbappé was done by Ani Hakobyan, Head of Newmag’s Literary Programs. According to Hakobyan, the book offers fans a detailed and engaging account of the footballer’s journey, from his childhood dreams to his rise as the most expensive young player in football history.

“The authors vividly recount Mbappé’s early life, youth, and the challenges he overcame on the way to stardom. It’s more than a sports biography, t’s a motivational guide on how to achieve success against the odds,” said Hakobyan.

She emphasized that Mbappé can serve as an inspirational read not only for young fans but also for their parents.

“The book sheds light on the critical role of parental support, coaching relationships, and community encouragement. Mbappé grew up in a modest suburb near Paris, yet with the right support system, he fulfilled his dream of playing in top-tier football, and now wears the Real Madrid jersey.”

The book dives deep into Mbappé’s personal and professional development. Co-authors Caioli and Collot conducted extensive research, interviewing family, coaches, teammates, and even a woman who ran a donut stand near his training field, a favorite spot for Mbappé and his childhood friends.

The biography has already resonated with fans across Armenia. Robert Markosyan, co-founder and president of the official Real Madrid Fan Club in Armenia, noted the importance of having such literature in Armenian.
