At Winterfest, Newmag will present the memoir of Armenia’s all-time greatest footballer, “My Life Always at the Center”. Henrikh Mkhitaryan recorded a special video message for the occasion.
Originally published in 2025, My Life Always at the Center became an international bestseller. Now, Newmag presents the memoir in Armenian. Mkhitaryan wrote the book in collaboration with Alessandro Alciato, and it was translated from Italian into Armenian by Lucine Shukuryan and Ani Hakobyan.
The all-time top scorer and former captain of the Armenian national team has played for Inter Milan since 2022, winning the Italian Championship, the Super Cup, the Italian Cup, and participating in two Champions League finals. Behind these victories lie struggles, setbacks, and silent battles—everything that Mkhitaryan shares candidly in his memoir.
For the footballer, the Armenian edition carries special significance.
“The Armenian edition of my book will be published soon, which is very meaningful to me. In this memoir, I speak honestly not only about successes, but also about difficult moments, about what it means not to give up, to stay human, and to take responsibility—for your profession, your country, and your name.”
In his video message, Mkhitaryan warmly invited fans to the book presentation:
“I cordially invite everyone to the presentation of my book, which will take place on February 7, during Newmag Winterfest 2026, at Dvin Music Hall. Thank you all for your support, your loyalty, and for reading. I also want to sincerely thank Newmag Publishing House for making the Armenian edition of this book a reality.”
The event promises to be a book-confession and a celebration of an extraordinary life on and off the field.
“I hope my story will inspire many and encourage them to keep believing in themselves and dreaming.”
