Newmag publishing house summarized the year in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin (photos)

Artak Aleksanyan, the COE of the Newmag Publishing House, summing up the difficult year, presented the joint "Hun" series of the publishing department of Mother See Holy Etchmiadzin and Newmag. For the first time, the Mother See cooperates with a private publishing house to present scientific, high-quality literature related to Christianity and faith.

The first book was “Mere Christianity” by Clive Staples Lewis, perhaps the second most-read book after the Bible, which was published in the summer. According to Artak Aleksanyan, the second book of the "Hun" series will be published next year.

"The year was difficult, we had losses, after which it was often difficult and impossible to work, sometimes already planned programs were postponed due to force majeure. To overcome the difficulties, we chose the path of work and creativity."

His Holiness conveyed his blessing to the Newmag team, spoke with satisfaction about the cooperation between Mother See and Newmag. He also expressed his appreciation to the management and creative staff of the publishing house for their efforts in the education, upbringing and formation of the value system of Armenians.

At the meeting, Newmag's creative team asked His Holiness questions about the challenges faced by the homeland and the Armenian people and the ways to overcome them. His Holiness spoke about the Church’s efforts to save the cultural heritage of Artsakh. With the permission of His Holiness, the Newmag team saw the khachkars brought out from Dadivank.
