To mark the 100th anniversary of the "Singer of the Century," Newmag has released an exclusive two-volume collection featuring his poetry and prose, which includes 500 works.
This collection showcases songs spanning Aznavour's career, from
his early serious creative endeavors to the later years of his life. Thanks to newmag's
extensive efforts in Armenia, Aznavour is celebrated for his depth, full range
of expression, life experiences, and years of expertise.
The collection features notable works such as "A Child Was
Born," "Hosanna," "De Profundis!," and "Glory to
You, God." Readers will be surprised by Aznavour's prose—these pieces are
prayers that praise God and seek forgiveness for sins.
Although he sometimes wrestled with the Almighty in his memoirs,
he ultimately achieved a harmonious dialogue with God. The book includes many
works dedicated to Armenia and the Armenian Genocide, including a piece he
co-wrote with his sister Aida in 2007, dedicated to Armenia, which has endured
countless hardships over the centuries.
Partner of the collection "Aznavour: Prose, Poems" is Amundi-Acba Asset
Management.
