Newmag Publishing House starts the year with a big and long-awaited presentation: on February 7, as part of Winter Fest 2026, the official presentation of the Armenian edition of the autobiography “My Life: Always in the Center” by the all-time top scorer of the Armenian national football team, former captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan will take place. The book, which Mkhitaryan wrote in collaboration with Alessandro Alciato, tells not only about football glory, but also about overcome difficulties, human strength and longing.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s autobiography “My Life: Always in the Center” was written in collaboration with Alessandro Alciato. In the “Good Morning” program of Armenia TV, the head of the publishing house’s literary programs, Ani Hakobyan, spoke about the Winter Fest 2026 festival and Mkhitaryan’s book.

“Immediately after the Italian release of the book, we are constantly asked when the Armenian version will be available. The Armenian version of the memoir will be available at our winter festival, which will take place on February 7 at the Dvin Music Hall. The book will be a great gift not only for football and Mkhitaryan fans, but also for everyone.

This is a story about a man who was not discouraged by any difficulties in life and worked hard to achieve success. The book is especially the story of the warm relationship and longing between Henrikh and his father, Hamlet Mkhitaryan.

All Armenians who love Mkhitaryan will be thrilled by this story and will appreciate Henrikh in a new way. It seems that he just appeared at Arsenal, Inter or Manchester, but that path has been a long and difficult one, it will inspire everyone and give strength.”

In addition to Henrikh Mkhitaryan's book, three more books by Armenian authors will be presented at Newmag Winterfest 2026: a fiction, detective book by TV commentator Marianna Hakobyan, science fiction book by military doctor Davit Georgyan, winner of the "Young Writers" competition announced by Newmag and the "Tovmasyan" Foundation, and a manual on the LinkedIn social network by Gor Karapetyan, which will help understand the importance and significance of this professional platform.
