Darren Hardy’s international bestseller “The Compound Effect” has been translated into Armenian and published by Newmag Publishing House in partnership with WELES Group. The motivational classic was released on the occasion of the company’s tenth anniversary. WELES Group is an international consortium of companies that has been operating in Armenia since 2015.
The book by the renowned business consultant, motivational speaker, and former SUCCESS magazine editor-in-chief was translated into Armenian by David Sargsyan. He is confident that the collaboration between WELES Group and Newmag has produced a valuable and practical guide for personal and professional growth.

“It’s an inspiring and insightful book built around one core principle — taking consistent, small steps. You don’t have to make giant leaps to achieve big goals. You simply start small, and with time, those steps accumulate into significant results. It doesn’t matter what field you’re in, whether you run a business or simply want change, this book helps you move toward success one step at a time,” said Sargsyan.

The editor of the Armenian edition, Tatev Baghdasaryan, noted that while working on the book, she began noticing how small daily decisions can lead to both positive and negative consequences.
“When I started reading the book, I realized that small steps truly lead to big results. We often look for shortcuts, a pill for instant success, or AI to solve everything. This book reminds us that progress comes from steady, consistent effort.”

Headquartered in Switzerland, WELES Group operates in Austria, the Czech Republic, Georgia, and Armenia, guided by the motto “Swiss Vision with Global Impact.” This phrase reflects the company’s commitment to quality, trust, and sustainable international growth.

The decision to publish The Compound Effect in Armenian was initiated by Arman Nalbandyan, Director of WELES Group. He emphasized that the concept of the “compound effect” has been part of the company’s journey from the very beginning.

“When I founded WELES Group ten years ago, taking my first steps in the solar energy sector, I couldn’t have imagined that we would grow from a local startup into an international company headquartered in Switzerland. The philosophy of the compound effect, achieving success through steady, consistent progress, has been the foundation of our growth and success over the past decade.”

Mariam Grigoryan, Deputy Director of WELES Group, summarized the company’s ten-year journey and outlined its future strategy. She also shared how the company got its name:
“The name WELES was inspired by the idea of wellness — symbolizing balance, quality, and energy. In Slavic mythology, Veles was the god of wisdom, connecting the sun and the earth. These ideas perfectly represent our company’s mission: sustainable growth, innovation, and harmony between people, business, and technology.”

Today, WELES Group operates as a multi-sector ecosystem ensuring long-term value for individuals and businesses alike. The group currently includes WELES Solar, WELES Consulting, WELES Business Center, and WELES Marketing.
By supporting the Armenian publication of Darren Hardy’s The Compound Effect, WELES Group once again affirms its commitment to education, motivation, and social responsibility — inspiring Armenian readers to take control of their success, one small step at a time.
