Newmag has translated and published "Ruben" by Vladislav Gasumyanov and Alina Gasumyanova in Armenian. Ruben Vardanyan's wife, relatives, and colleagues attended the presentation.

In "Ruben," the authors—father and daughter Gasumyanov—have gathered assessments and heartfelt opinions from Armenian and Russian figures across various fields, high-ranking specialists who reflect on the multifaceted talents of philanthropist and entrepreneur Ruben Vardanyan and his significant contributions to humanity. Currently, he is under arrest in Azerbaijan due to unfortunate circumstances.

The book was translated from Russian to Armenian by Narine Kroyan. For Kroyan, this was not just another job; she worked meticulously with every word and idea. During her speech at the presentation, she spoke sincerely about the translation, which was filled with emotion.

"He is a man of the world, a man of the planet, a child of a small nation, for whom all people are equal. That’s what shocked me. Going to Artsakh was his mission. I believe that when a person is born, they are assigned a mission. Ruben Vardanyan felt it was his mission to be where his presence was most needed."

The book serves as a call to release Ruben Vardanyan so he can continue his hundreds of programs aimed at protecting humanitarian values. We are talking about more than 700 projects worth $700 million, of which the philanthropist allocated $202 million to humanitarian initiatives, $20 million to cultural preservation, and $13 million to science, healthcare, and agroecology.

According to Gnel Nalbandian, the editor of "Ruben," the authors struggled to contain their emotions and aimed to convey a powerful message to the readers.

"The authors of the book emphasize that it is a great injustice that the greatest humanist—who has improved the lives of many and helped people find themselves in innovative and prosperous environments—should suffer imprisonment. This is a call to action."

The book urges the release of Ruben Vardanyan so he can continue the hundreds of projects dedicated to helping people and promoting humanitarian values. The translation took months to complete. The idea arose while Vardanyan was under arrest in Azerbaijan. The main partner for the book "Ruben" is Ardshinbank.

In his speech, Artak Aleksanyan, head of newmag, emphasized that the book and its presentation were solely the initiatives of newmag and Ardshinbank.

"Ruben Vardanyan's family is merely a guest at this event and is not involved with either the book or the videos presented. Ruben Vardanyan is a man with a huge heart and great faith, who, unfortunately, is in prison today. This highlights how many challenges his ideas and initiatives create for those who fear change and truth. However, his voice cannot be silenced. Ruben Vardanyan once said that life is not just about movement; it is about realizing that you can leave something behind that benefits society."

The book "Ruben" will be available for sale in a few days and can be purchased on the newmag.am website.
