A. F. Steadman (Annabel Steadman) is a British author. She studied languages and law at Selwyn College, Cambridge, later earning a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Cambridge. In 2020, Steadman secured a seven-figure three-book deal for her fantasy series about "bloodthirsty unicorns." That same week, Sony Pictures acquired the film rights to the series.

The first book in the series, Skandar and the Unicorn Thief, was published in 2022 and quickly captured readers' attention. The second installment continues Skandar's grand adventure, throwing him into the heart of new dangers, discoveries, and trials.

Skandar and the Phantom Rider is intended for readers aged 12 and up. Translated by Nare Harutyunyan, with Yeraz Projects as the main partner. A. F.
