"Yeraz" presented two youth and one children's bestseller (photos)

The first book is Jeff Kinney's "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules", which has recently sold 300 million copies worldwide and is a global bestseller. The comic depicts the life of schoolchildren through humorous illustrations and a schoolboy's diary. The series is one of the most famous about school life and has been adapted into both a cartoon and a TV series. The first part of the series was translated into Armenian by the "Yeraz" series a year ago.

Gnel Nalbandian, the book's editor, explains that they deliberated extensively over the title before publication. "Many options were discussed in the editorial office to determine how 'Wimpy Kid' should be rendered in Armenian. Ultimately, the 'Vtvtik' version was chosen. The book's hero is a true 'vtvtik,' finding himself in various unfortunate, funny, and perplexing situations. Before publishing it in Armenian, the editorial paid special attention to the language and style. The book is humorous, so all expressions were carefully translated and edited to ensure that teenagers and young adults would enjoy reading it."

The Soviet and CIS bestseller "The Adventures of Electronic" has been translated into Armenian for the first time. Originally published in 1964, it was adapted into a famous three-part film in 1979. The story of a humanoid robot created by artificial intelligence gained significant popularity among teenagers and young adults. Even today, despite the abundance of stories about robots and technological wonders, its captivating adventures continue to fascinate. 

Narine Gizhlaryan, the book's translator, shares that this was also her favorite childhood book. "Although the book is about Soviet childhood, its story is universal. I am confident it will resonate strongly with our children."

Swedish children's literature is renowned worldwide for its educational, emotional, and child-centered qualities. Swedish books are known for their delicacy and are selected with great care. The "Yeraz" series, in collaboration with the "Paradigma" educational foundation, published the "Finding the Way to Faraway Valley" by Cecilia Heikkila, Swedish author and designer.

Artsvi Bakhchinyan, the book's translator, notes that our parents still need to embrace the culture of reading with their children. "This book, along with the included guide, will assist mothers and especially fathers in spending quality time with their children, reading, learning, and teaching."

The story about a grandfather and grandson teaches the values of loving relatives, nature, and dreaming. The education specialists of the "Paradigma" foundation have also prepared a special guide for parents. Through a series of simple questions and activities, it aims to help parents discuss the book after reading, and develop emotional, mathematical, and linguistic literacy.
