Newmag invites you to an unforgettable book festival. On February 16, from noon to late evening, there will be a 12-hour literary and cultural festival at Dvin Music Hall.

This winter’s most anticipated book and art festival will bring together bestselling Armenian authors, musical performances, a gala concert, exhibitions, a poetic performance, and, most importantly, books: new releases and beloved bestsellers.

This year, Newmag will present four new books and one magazine at the festival. A year ago, at Winter Fest 2024, Newmag, in collaboration with Arevik Udumyan and “Burmunk,” introduced the first issue of "Dyute”. The second issue, launching at this year’s festival, is a comprehensive guide to skincare.

One of the festival’s major highlights is the launch of Syune Sevada’s latest novel, "Metal of Courage." This thought-provoking urban novel explores an infamous Yerevan legend from the 1990s, intertwined with the present day. The book’s main sponsor is Sparsis, sponsor is Business Park.

Two writers from Artsakh, Hermine Avagyan and Tsovinar Barkhudaryan, will present their new books. "Farewell Eyes" by Hermine Avagyan is a collection of short stories about loss, longing, and resilience, while "The Last Red Lipstick" by Tsovinar Barkhudaryan documents real-life stories from Artsakh. These books were published with the support of the Amrots National Development Foundation.

At Winter Fest, Avet Barseghyan will introduce his poetry collection, “My Mirror”. Each poem is an introspective journey, offering readers a new perspective on life, love, and human emotions. After the presentation, Avet Barseghyan’s poetry will be performed by Nazeni Hovhannisyan, Varsham Gevorgyan, and Hrachuhi Utmazyan. The book was published with the support of Artur Vanetsyan.

Additionally, a special gathering will be held with last year’s Newmag bestsellers: Ani Kochar, Tovmas Arakelyan, Astghik Sahakyan, and Gor Karapetyan.

Beyond literature, the festival will feature a spectacular musical show and gala concert. Performances include:

  • Armenian State Symphony Orchestra
  • "Voices of Artsakh"
  • International competition laureate Syuzanna Melkonyan
  • Gor Sujyan

Attendees will also enjoy an exclusive art exhibition, the launch of a new literary competition, a “Poetic Dialogue" multimedia art installation, exclusive discounts on all books.

Don’t miss Newmag Winter Fest 2025, a fusion of literature, music, and art!
