Newmag Publishing House unveiled its preparations for Newmag Winter Fest 2024 in an interview with Armenpress news agency. The festival is scheduled for February 10 at Dvin Music Hall, running from 12 am to 9 pm. Entrance is free.

Ani Hakobyan, the head of the festival program at Newmag Publishing House, highlighted that this marks the third edition of the festival, which, unlike previous ones, will transcend a mere literary event. This time, it will be an expansive arts festival, featuring concert shows, theater performances, and exhibitions of artistic works. In essence, Newmag extends an invitation to a fusion of literature and modern arts. Entrance is free. "There will be four book presentations at the festival. Ani Qochar's "Life on a Second Try", Astghik Sahakyan's "Project Management", Gor Karapetyan's "The Proactive Leader" and Tovmas Arakelyan's "A Path".

The Artsakh State Jazz Orchestra will open the festival. Gnel Nalbandian, the editor-in-chief of the publishing house says that the Artsakh orchestra was not chosen randomly. The proceeds from book sales will be given to Artsakh authors to publish their books. "We support our colleagues from Artsakh. Before this festival, the Newmag publishing house and the "Tovmasyan" charitable foundation signed a memorandum by which we will support Artsakh authors, the proceeds will be transferred to them. There will be a commission that will select those authors who were forcibly displaced from their homeland due to the recent aggression of Azerbaijan. This is very important for them to continue creating. One day they will return to Artsakh, during this time they should not lose touch with their roots."

At the Art location of the festival, the works of Tigran Tsitoghdzyan and Arman Nur will be displayed throughout the day, and Ilya Vardanyan will present his work "Digital Dreams". There will also be a presentation of four books and at the end a big concert, the author's evening of Avet Barseghyan. His songs will be performed by Aram MP3, Gor Sujyan, Sona Rubenyan, and Movses Movsisyan. There is no need to make reservations or pay for the festival concert either.

Gohar Manukyan, the head of special projects of the Newmag publishing house, says that the publishing house, in addition to the winter one, has summer and autumn festivals. The autumn one is a French literature festival, and the winter one has a new format this time. "We have interesting art exhibitions, there will be a performance of Nerses Avetisyan's "Cold Day in Hell". There will be a panel discussion about the artificial army. We made it so that the festival would interest people of different tastes and ages."

In addition to the books, there will also be the presentation of the first Armenian guide to skin care, called "Dute". Gohar Manukyan detailed that the magazine was initiated by Arevik Udumyan. "Dute" magazine is the first Armenian skincare guide. All the ingredients important for skin care are fashionable, and the specialist presented them in an accessible language. There are no complicated terms, so everyone can apply the professional advice in the magazine. The guide is a colorful, interesting, and very useful gift."
