The "Yeraz" series presents the most popular Finnish children's book "Mru Mru and Berry" (trailer)

A little bear named Mru is trying to figure out how BIG is able to walk steadily through the forest without paying attention to the interesting things around him. At the end of a long walk, BIG luckily turns around and sees...

The famous Finnish illustration "Mru Mru and Berry" was created by children's writer Kaisa Happonen and illustrator Anne Vasko. Kaisa Happonen holds a master's degree in drama and communication from the University of Jyväskylä. She creates content for children in a variety of platforms and formats, from television to books. She hosts television programs for children, previously acted in children's plays, and was a storyteller in the library. Kaisa Happonen's books have been translated into 20 languages.

And Anne Vasko is a Finnish author and illustrator. She has published dozens of children's books. Her "The Great Lion" won the Rudolf Koivu Award in 2010 and was nominated for the Finnish Children's Book Award. Shortlisted for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in 2017 and 2021. The series of books dedicated to the bear named Mru, illustrated by Vasco, has been translated into 15 languages.

For attentive children and caring adults, the book also has a special tab on how to read the book correctly and teach children the most important things. This innovation has been implemented by the "Yeraz" series as a result of cooperation with the "Paradigma" Educational Institution.

The presentation of the book "Mru Mru and Berry" will take place during the "Book of Yeraz: New Heroes" event, on May 18, at 5 pm in Yeraz Park. At the end of the event, a raffle will be held and the organizers will donate 50 copies of the first picture book to the children. Entrance is free.
