Anna Abrahamyan

Anna Abrahamyan (born 1977) graduated from the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology of Yerevan State University in 1999 with a degree in English philology and translation. She has worked as a translator and interpreter in the staff of the Armenian Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, in “Armenergonorogum” CJSC, in “Yerevan Thermal Power Plant” CJSC, in the “Armenian Association of Young Lawyers” NGO, in ABB Overseas Marketing Ltd and ALSTOM Power Hydro Turbine AG organizations, in the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia. She has started translating books since 2020. About two dozen literary works have been published in her translations. Anna Abrahamyan began her collaboration with Newmag with the translation of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s book “Be Useful. The 7 Rules of Life”.
