Ashot Blbulyan

Ashot Blbulyan is a linguist and literary critic, a specialist in French and French literature. Over the past 40 years, he has translated numerous fiction and non-fiction books, articles, and films from Armenian to French, Russian, and vice versa. From 2001 to 2014, he was the head of the "Hope and Love" publishing house, and before that, he was the deputy director and editor-in-chief of several other publishing houses. He has published Armenian-French, French-Armenian, Russian-Armenian dictionaries. He has translated Amelie Notomby's "Blue Beard" and works by many other authors from French into Armenian, including Victor Hugo, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Maurice Druon, and others.
