Gayane Hayrapetyan
Gayane Hayrapetyan was born in 1991 in Stepanakert, Artsakh. In 2011 she graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages at Artsakh State University (English and French). In 2018 she studied at the Fletcher School of law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (Boston, USA) as part of the Tavitian Foundation scholarship program. Gayane has worked at the Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, Aurora Humanitarian Initiative Charitable Foundation and “Médecins Sans Frontières” Association. She has collaborated with public, private and international organizations providing oral and written translation since 2012 (working languages: Armenian, Russian, English and Spanish). Gayane co-translated the Russian and English versions of the book “The Collection of Silver Jewelry of Artsakh State Museum” published in 2019. “Rojava” is her maiden translation for Newmag publishing house.
