Nare Harutyunyan

Nare Harutyunyan (born 1997) graduated from Yerevan State University, Faculty of Romance-Germanic Philology, Department of Translation Studies, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Philology (2018) and a Master's degree (2020). During her Master's degree, she studied at the American University of Armenia, receiving a translator's qualification certificate (2019), and then studied in Italy, at the Faculty of Linguistics of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, under the Erasmus exchange program. She began her professional career in 2016, teaching at the "Quantum" College and doing translations into Armenian and English. In collaboration with "Hayasa Film", she translated the screened children's New Year film "Snow White". Her translations include 4 books in the “My First Atlas” series (2021-2023), Rhonda Byrne’s bestseller “The Secret” (2023). Nare Harutyunyan has been collaborating with Newmag as a translator since 2019. Translated books: Michelle Obama’s “Becoming. My Story” (co-translator) Annabelle Stedman’s “Skandar and the Unicorn Thief.”
