Raffi Achemian

Raffi Achemian born in Beirut. Settled in Montreal in 1987. Graduated from Concordia University in Montreal as an engineer. He followed philosophy courses at the same university. His first writings were published in the literary supplement of the weekly magazine "Horizon", starting in 1994. He was also a member of its editorial staff, as well as the Los Angeles-based periodical "Open Letter". He has collaborated with various literary magazines and newspapers: "Bagyn", "Harach", "Inknagir" and Mark Nishanian's "Kam" magazine.
