Sergey Mkrtchyan

Sergey Mkrtchyan (born 1943) is a translator and prose writer. He has been a member of the Armenian Union of Journalists since 2012. He graduated from the French Department of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of Yerevan State University. He worked as a translator, editor, and terminologist at the Armenian Academy of Sciences, the Institutes of Language and Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, as well as in the daily newspapers "Azg" and "Yerkir". His translations (from English and French) have been published in the republican literary press. He is a member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Armenia.
