Tigran Petrosyan started working on this book in the early 1980s, but never finished it. After his death, the chess player's widow Rona Petrosyan made a summary.
During the compilation of the book, Petrosyan's lectures were devoted to the strategic nuances of chess, reports, TV and radio recordings, and articles published in weekly newspapers. Thanks to the efforts of his wife, Rona Petrosyan, we managed to find the recordings of Petrosyan's lectures, which are considered to be the best educational materials of the famous chess player.
Tigran Petrosyan had a defensive style of play, due to which he received the title of "Iron Tigran".
