On June 1 and 2, the "Zangak" publishing organized a children's book festival according to tradition. Literary events and entertainment, games and performances, competitions and surprises lasted two days. "Yeraz" children's series presented the year's new books during the festival.

"Skandar and the Unicorn Thief" by Annabelle Steadman is a global bestseller, with 8 million copies sold worldwide. In Great Britain alone, 100,000 people bought the book within a week of its publication. A film will also be shot this year. The book was translated from English to Armenian by Nare Harutyunyan, who presented the important messages of this book during the festival, which the author tried to convey to the reader.
"Skandar and the Unicorn Thief is a world bestseller, it has been translated into 48 languages and I am sure that it will be loved in our country as well. In this book, children will find such values as family, friendship, responsibility, and faith in one's own abilities. I am sure that all parents would like their children to have these qualities."
This year, the "Yeraz" series has another important novelty. Special guidelines in children's books will help parents and professionals working with children of preschool age to make reading more interesting and effective. The guidelines are prepared by the "Paradigma" Educational Foundation.
Hasmik Kyureghyan, executive director of "Paradigma" Educational Foundation, presented the guidelines to the parents. "Is it possible to develop mathematical, logical, social-psychological skills in a child through a book?" It is, and our books, which we present with Newmag, aim to develop those skills. Functional illiteracy in our country reaches 40 percent. Our books are published precisely to reduce this."
At the "Zangak" fest, "Yeraz" also presented Astghik Nadiryan's book "Do Nanik, My Baby". It also has a guide that will further reinforce the parenting knowledge gained from the book.
The annual children's festival at "Yeraz" Park has been extended by two days, offering a true dream holiday experience. The event features educational and motivational training sessions, numerous master classes including pottery and carpet weaving, activities such as plant planting and care, puppet making, interactive mobile theater performances, fairy tale readings, and a drawing corner, all designed to engage and entertain children. Additionally, visitors can enjoy up to a 40 percent discount at the Newmag booth.
