The latest stop in the book donation initiative by Newmag and the “Renaissance” Foundation was the Yeghvard community, where 500 books were gifted to the seven branches of the Yeghvard Centralized Library System.
Expressing his gratitude, Head of the Yeghvard community Norayr Sargsyan called the donation an unprecedented and valuable gift:

“This is a tremendous gift for our readers. As soon as you walk into the library, you can sense how much effort and care we dedicate to it. We are truly blessed to receive such meaningful support.”
Artak Aleksanyan, Head of Newmag Publishing House, emphasized the importance of making books accessible beyond just publishing them:

“For us, publishing is our mission, but it’s just as important that books reach readers. Not everyone can afford to buy books, and this initiative is the best way to make high-quality literature accessible. We’re happy to see such a well-maintained library and are committed to continuing this program in other communities.”

Newmag’s Editor-in-Chief Gnel Nalbandyan praised the condition of the library and the enthusiasm of its staff:
“The facilities here are excellent, and they deserve equally excellent content. We’ve brought 500 books, around 200 titles, many of which are perfect for family reading. These are high-quality books that match the level of your readers and your dedicated staff.”

Liparit Manyan, Director of the Yeghvard Art School, highlighted the broader cultural value of the initiative:
“The ‘Renaissance’ Foundation and Newmag are acting as a bridge between world literature and our readers. Initiatives like this are what truly bring people closer to books. I’d also love to see more publications about composers and their creative journeys, which are still largely unknown to the public.”

Honored teacher Haykuhi Hovhannisyan from Yeghvard added:
“These modern books are so visually appealing, from the covers to the fonts. We are truly grateful for such thoughtfully produced and beautifully printed works.”
The event concluded with student performances from local schools and dance groups, who presented a program dedicated to Ascension Day, adding a festive and cultural touch to the day’s celebration of books.
