Lilit Shakaryan is a sociologist and marketing communications specialist.
She graduated from the YSU Faculty of Sociology and taught at the YSU
Sociology Faculty for 14 years. She is the author of approximately 10 subject
programs and numerous scientific articles.
She developed new master's programs and teaching methodologies.
As part of the "Women's Leadership" program, she visited the
Faculty of Social Transformation at Arizona State University, USA, where she
developed new programs and teaching methodologies.
She authored two professional books.
The first Armenian-language "Brand Management" and
"Communication Challenges in the Information Society" educational
manuals.
She is a member of:
The American Sociological Association, International Sociological Association, and European Educational Research Association (EERA).
In addition to academic activities, she provides consulting and business courses in branding, PR, and marketing. Lilit also conducts sociological research.
Since 2012, Lilit Shakaryan has lectured at leading universities
in Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Hungary, and other European
countries.
She is a research scientist at the Faculty of Education, Nevada State
University, USA, where she moved in 2023 to continue her research within the PhD program
in Human Development and Family Theory.
Since 2022, she has been involved as an expert in the "Armenian-Diaspora
Unity" committee within the projects initiated by The FUTURE ARMENIAN Foundation.
American specialists will be trained using the training module developed by
Shakaryan as part of the research project "High-Risk Assessment of
Domestic Violence" in the State of Nevada, USA.
Lilit Shakaryan will be a speaker at the IARR 2024 Annual Scientific Conference in Boston. Her topic is "Parent-Child Interaction in the Context of the Family: The Influence of Parenting Styles on Child Identity Development."
