During the Morning Show on Armenia TV, the presentation of the book "Everybody's Right" by the renowned film director, screenwriter, and writer Paolo Sorrentino took place. The book was published by Newmag, initiated by "Zangak".

Sorrentino, a modern Italian director, consistently presents his films at prestigious festivals like Venice and Cannes. Known for his refined style and unique perspective, Italy is a recurring theme in both his films and novels.

The book's editor, Anna Bakhshyan, describes it as a portrayal of the seventies generation, focusing on a pop singer who grapples with addiction, surrounded by allure and seeking the meaning of life. Sorrentino skillfully draws parallels between youth and old age throughout the narrative.

Sorrentino probably started writing because irony, grotesque, and humor are becoming more prominent in literature. The hero of the book experiences an existential crisis and flees to Brazil. There is a movie called "One Man Up" that is very similar to the character of this book: both characters are Tony.

"Everybody's Right" marks Sorrentino's literary debut, published in 2021. Bakhshyan elaborated on the book cover's depiction of a Blattodea, noting humorous and grotesque scenes within the narrative, particularly in Brazil where Blattodeas are particularly spread.

The novel was published by Newmag on the initiative of "Zangak. Astghik Ohanyan, head of literary programs of "Zangak", told why they initiated this publication with Newmag. "This time we chose the book, paying tribute to our taste. The book discusses topics that are interesting to us. We have noticed that our readers like good, intellectual cinema, we also offered a good book. The book should be read with music. Each chapter begins with a naturalist, popular Italian pop song. One of the chapters also begins with one of Aznavour's songs.

If you listen to those songs, you can almost watch a movie. The events of the first half of the book take place in Naples, where the pop star wastes his life, and does not take care of his wife and child. The main character is also an anti-hero. Then he decides that despite his great fame, he has nothing in his life. The singer leaves Brazil and keeps no contact with anyone. He begins to live a more real, dishonorable, and ordinary life. The events of the other part of the book take place in Brazil."

Everybody's Right, an extraordinary novel nominated for Italy's most prestigious literary prize, the Strega, is Paolo Sorrentino's debut novel, which is also somewhat autobiographical.
