"Last Red Lipstick: Artsakh Diary" - Artsakh TV announcer Tsovinar Barkhudaryan`s book presented in Yerevan

As was mentioned  during the presentation, this book tells the personal story of  Tsovinar, and twelve other Artsakh women, whose stories are full of  pain, yet also inspire hope. The author shares their experiences,  conveys their suffering and describes the challenging path of losing  their homeland.  The presenter said that the idea for creating the  book did not come out of nowhere. According to her, she had  previously hosted the "Witness" program, which aired 31 episodes  featuring stories of people who had experienced the horrors of war  and the loss of their homeland.

During the presentation of the book, Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham  Stepanyan, shared his memories of those days. He noted that he was  shocked when fireworks were heard all over the sky of Yerevan on  December 31, 2023, just two months after the loss of Artsakh.   Stepanyan emphasized that the reunification of the Armenian people is  one of the main goals at the moment. "There is no need to blame  people who have gone through hell, and there is no need to tell them  that they should not live in the past, because our future cannot be  without our past. Thus, for the people of Artsakh, there can be no  future without Artsakh. I want our compatriots in Armenia to  understand this very well and try to help create a future in which  Artsakh will be ours."
